March is a very busy month with things on every weekend. Next weekend I have a girls trip to Stockholm to meet up with 4 other girls that used to live in Austrlia. The weekend after we have 3 nights in Kåbdalis with 5 other families. Lucky us!
The kids are well. Isak is still not speaking and he still doesn't say daddy, he says daddou with a very French accent. He is very cute and we understand almost everything he tries to say, but please can he start saying some more words soon!
Jakob is obsessed with ice hockey, don't know where it is coming from and why but he is a freak. He can sit and watch the screen to the phone just to wait for the score to update. He goes throuh old matches and compares results and gets really excited if he finds a combination he hasn't seen before. He comes to me and says: Mummy mummy look Brynäs won over Färjestad with 5-1 once, I have never seen that combination before!! when in the cabin on the weekend he woke up 4.40 in the morning wanting to check the hockey scores from last night. He sat on the sofa with Adam's phone looking at the scores until 6am when he came in to wake Adam up. I kept sleeping...

Storklinten again!
Busy busy life... I got home from Denmark after midnight Thursday night, wen to work before 7 the next morning and went home only to get changed, have lunch and get in the car to go to Storklinten. This time we had a cabin by ourselves but had dinner and lunches with Anders and the family.
Jakob really likes skiing and he is just getting more and more comfortable on the skiis. On the Friday Adam and Jakob skied all afternoon and after dinner Jakob wanted to do the night skiing as well so I took him out for another go.
Jakob with the cabin we stayed in in the background!
Bbq lunch by the caravan on the Saturday!
Very tired mummy and pretty tired children.
Another bbq lunch this time in the sun, very nice!
Contrasts
In between all these ski holidays I have had a couple of work trips latley. Last week I went to Denmark, to a small village out on the country side.
The view from our conference room, I think I could get used to having an office with this kind of view.
Our hotel was close to the ocean!
Dundret
A couple of weeks ago we had the advantage to spend a weekend at Dundret in Gällivare together with Maria, Andreas, Alice and Melvin. Andreas parents have a cabin there on top of the small slope and next to the lifts. We had really nice weather all weekend but a bit windy at the top!
I borrowed a backpack to put Isak in and it worked really well for about 15 minutes. After that I got a bit tired and he got grumpy and wanted to get down. It was really fun to try it thouth and skiin with him on my back was no problem.
This is taken the first time I took Jakob to the highest top, it looks beautiful but it was very windy. Jakob got a bit scared at first I think but didn't complain and just kept skiing.
Jakob and Alice sharing the lift!
Hot chocolate break a must!
The kids got on really well and had fun dancing to the Swedish eurovision song contest.
Isak our little angel just wonders around enjoying being a part of everything. He has a strong mind but is such a gentle little person. He is in that helpful stage at the moment, I asked him to go and get a nappy, and he walks all the way upstairs, grabs a nappy, wipes and the little mattress to lie on when he gets changed. Hope this side of him never goes away.
Kåbdalis
About a month ago work organised a bus trip to Kåbdalis. Jakob and I went together and it was a really fun, he is such a big, amazing and fun little boy to be with! the weather was not the best but he did really well and went all the way to the top a few times.
It took him about 2 seconds to fall asleep in the bus on the way home...
Karin and I
Karin and I grew up together and did everything together as kids. We followed each others families on holidays sometimes and Karin came skiing with my family lots of times. It was probably nearly 30 years ago since we skied together, Karin and I. When in Storlinten the other week we managed to squeeze in a ski just the two of us. I took this photo of us in the lift, just like in the old days. I remember how scared we used to be taking the lift and how emarrassed we were if we missed the lift or fell. A few years ago I found my old diary and when I was 7 years old I wrote: Today we went skiing to Storklinten; me, Anders, mum, dad and Karin. I didn't want Karin to come so I cried a little. She is such a slow skiier!
Poor Karin, I remember how I used to take her to the really steep slopes and she got so angry with me. Anyway, we had lots of fun together as children and still do so it can't have been that bad :-)
