Tired boys

After the tivoli Jakobs friend Eddie from dagis came over for a play and when he left Adam played soccer with the kids and the neighbours grandchild and I went for a run. After dinner we were all extremly tired after 2 great days together.

The day after...

Our third and last Midsummer tradition is to go to the tivoli on Midsummers Day.

Jakob, Lykke, Zara and Finn!

Isak very happy with himself when having a go at the train with Jakob!

He got his confidence up so much he wanted to do the bumper cars with Adam but started freaking out when a man took him off Adams lap and put him next to him. He didn't get over it so I had to pick him up.

Poor Isak... it took him quite some cuddling before he was himself again.

Party

For the third summer in a row we have organised Midsummer Party for some of our friends. The week has been pretty busy preparing for it all but with some help from mum and good planning we made it!

At about 3pm Adam opened a bottle of sparkling for a first toast!

The kids also got some special glasses and bubbles!

Niklas riding his motor bike...

Sigrid and Sara

Isak!

Jakob stopping Isak from leaving the back yard.

The kids perparing their own food.

The kids got to eat outside but by the time the adult food was ready it was too cold to be outside.

When the adults had their dinner the kids went crazy on snacks and the cars movie.

The little ones starting to get a bit tired...

And the big ones playing some night soccer...

I am very happy with my dessert, the only negative was that there was none left for breakfast the next morning...

Midsummer at Hägnan

.
Every Midsummer for the last few years we have spent the morning/day at Hägnan. Adam stayed home to prepare for the party and Isak stayed home to get a good sleep, but Jakob, mormor and I had a nice day in the sun!

We got there quite early which was good because a couple of hours later the place was packed and nearly impossible to move.

Zara and the family were there as well!

Jakob entertained the oldies by running around on the stage for a while.

Åsa, Micke, Vilmer and Maggi came as well but we left not long after.

Birthday party!

Vilmer turned 1 on the weekend and we joined him to celebrate the big day!

As always when in Ale the weather was nice and Jakob played football pretty much the whole time there.

Isak had 3 fruit boxes and was happy!

And also realised that in the kitchen he could play with lots of toys all by himself!

Chillin in the sun, but Jakob on the move as always...

Busy life

Adam is now in the middle of his busiest season at work which means very long days for both of us. I leave before 7 in the morning and pick up the kids around 4. Adam leave around 8 and comes home around 8, sometimes later. It is all working ok and we get lots of help from mum, but I am glad the golf season is not so long...

The kids like helping me with the cleaning, at least for a few minutes. Jakob is really good at vaccuming (better than daddy...)...

Isak has a more relaxed attitude to cleaning standing in one spot with a hand inside his pants...

Sometimes...

Sometimes, but only sometimes, the boys play so well together. The other day they sat together on Jakob's bunk bed building lego for nearly half an hour.

Hard work...

Last week we spent a day and a night on a really beautiful island in the outer archipelago of Luleå. My new boss and his family have a few cabins on the island and 6 of us from work had a great time enjoying the sun, eating, drinking and actually working too. Wish every day at work was like this...

One project for the engineers was to put up a new flag pole, very interesting to watch...

The boat that took us to and from the island.

By for now!

The museum

Today was the "World wide knitting in public day" at the local museum and they had extended opening hours because of that. We spent a few hours there in the late afternoon playing outside and inside. A great place for children!

Could Isak be any cuter? I don't think so. Today he has been wearing my scarf all day.

Isak trying to keep up with the big boys.

Best friends hanging out. They played together from 10 in the morning until I dropped Linus off at 5 in the afternoon and they kept saying; can't we play for a bit longer? They were playing floor ball in the house today and I heard them saying to each other: Goal!! that means hugging! and they hugged each other.

Isak only slept for 1 1/2 hour today so he took the opportunity to have a little rest at the museum.

Anneli joined us as well! she had been there earlier in the day knitting but came back to hang out with us.

A quick ice cream in between playing.
