Grandma

After months of counting the sleeps Before grandma arrives she is finally here. She arrived last night after a long journey from Australia to Sweden. The kids were very happy to see her and even Viktor was comfortable with grandma straight away. As Always she had brougth lots of presents for everyone and I can say that I have been eating lollies and chocolate from Australia all day long... I also got a very nice handbag for my birthday that I am very happy about!
Today I have been home from work and been going through our routines and tomorrow Jane will have her first "work day" looking after Viktor all by herself. I am not at all worried and I know it is going to go very well, but I am sure she will be tired at the end of the day.

The kids...

After the week of Colds, fever and ear infections the kids are now back on track again and Life is back to normal. Viktor Wakes up at 4:45 as usual, Isak still loves sleeping and Jakob wants to see friends all the time.

Last weekend Isak and I had a real mummy-Isak moment. I got up with Viktor early in the morning and to my surprise Isak also got up around 5:20. I Think he was just going to the toilet but since Viktor and I were up he also wanted to stay up. I told him that when daddy gets up I am going to go back to bed and that he could join me if he wanted. So, when Isak and Viktor had had their breakfast and also Adam had been up eating his breakfast Isak and I Went back to bed together. He was so cute holding his arms around me watching me staright in to my Eyes as he fell asleep in only a few minutes. We had an Amazing morning sleep and after I woke up I just stayed in bed watching him sleep for a while Before I got up. Don't know why but this moment was so special to me. Later that night when Isak and I were talking in bed he told me that the best part of his day was when we had a sleep together in the morning so it seems like it was quite special to him to.

Viktor takes every opportunity to be a big naughty and he is crawling fast on his mission to explore new things in the house.

A sport filled day!

Yesterday Isak and I follwed Jakob to his second soccer training for the season. Many of his friends were there and he just loved it.

Isak practiced a bit on the side but was also quite happy just watching his big brother play and when Jakob did a goal Isak was so happy and proud!

Not long after soccer training Jakob had his last innebandy training for the year and all of us went to watch it this time.

Jakob in action

Isak found a free spot on the side where he could hit some balls.

Viktor was in heaven!

All kids got a medal and some "fika" at the end of the training.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday we all met up again at mum's for a great Easter dinner!

Viktor got his first Easter egg ever!

The cousins playing some sort of tickling game. I am glad I wasn't involved...

Even Viktor got to be part of it!

Easter

Easter was late this year and we had a very quiet long weekend. On the Thursday me, Jakob and Isak Went to Gerds funeral. Friday we had a food bag from Hemmagastronomi and Adam cooked a great meal (lamb) that we had together with a nice bottle of wine from our Italy trip nearly 2 years ago.

Saturday we had my brother whit family over for dinner and I had prepared for the kids to paint some eggs. They got all excited and it started off really well. But what I thought would be an activity for an hour lasted for about 5 minutes...

The four kids played outside for a long time and had great fun as they Always seem to have!

Anders and Viktor had some quality time together...

School work

The other day Jakob brought home a bag with drawings from school. He was very happy and wanted to show me what he had done. One by one he got out the drawings and.... as you can see they all (apart from one or two) were hockey players or something connected to ice hockey. I Think we are creating a hockey freak...

Farm life

It is nice for us city people to sometims go to the country and smell some animals. The other week mum and I Went to Ale to see the newborn lambs.

Last year Jakob didn't want to hold a lamb, he was so worried he was going to drop it. This year he did it and was very proud of himself.

Even Isak held a lamb with a bit of help from Åsa.

Even though it was a sunny day it wasn't quite as warm as we were hoping so the picnic food that mum had brought we ate inside Åsas house. Very nice with some sandwiches and hot chocolate.

Viktor kept busy messing up all the newspapers.

Jakobs new favourite animals are rabbits and all Three boys loved meeting Vilmers rabbit Flip.

Before going home again Jakob got a ride on the 4 Wheeler with Åke.

Sick children

When I came home from work on Monday Viktor felt really hot and he had 40,4 temperature. I went straight to the Health care center and had to wait nearly 2 hours before we got to see a doctor. He checked his throat and ear and listened to lungs and heart and all seemed good. He also wanted to take a blood sample and that showed that he has an infection in his body. If he is not better in a few days we have to go back to get antibiotics.
Yesterday Jakob complained about pain in his ears and Isak had to come home from dagis because of ear pain so today I took the two of them to the doctor. They told me that they are very restrictive with giving antibiotics which I Think is very good, but it turned out that Isak had a punctured ear drum and Jakob had double sided ear infection so now both of them are on antibiotics for 5 days.
Being home with 3 sick Children could be a nightmare but we have actually had a very nice day not doing much at all. Mormor came past with some ice Cream and some books for drawing something the big kids appreciated very much.
Now I am just hoping that the kids (and me and Adam) will have a good night and that they will feel better tomorrow and that the sickness hasn't been passed on to me and Adam.

The day after

The day after my birthday party Adam and the kids came home around 7 in the morning. They all were feeling pretty sick so I wasn't the only one feeling very tired on the Sunday.

Party party

When I turned 30 my friend Stina and I had a joint birthday party with lots of people. It was a great night. Leading up to my 40th I was going through lots of ideas of what to do. I love having big parties, just like in the past, but the thought of organising something big and not really having anyone taking care of the Children, made it all so much harder. Until I came up with the great idea to have a Girls party! Adam and the kids stayed over at Mickes house for the night so the party was held at our house.

I set up a dinner table in the living room (have never tried that before) and it worked really well and fit all of us 16 Girls.

The party would not have been the same without Mum and auntie Maggie who cooked all the food and took care of the kitchen during the dinner including cleaning up after dinner. They did a great job and I am so glad that I didn't have to worry about the food during the night.

Zara also came early to help and while I was getting myself ready she vaccumed the floors, set up the Music and helped with the last bit of preparations before everyone turned up.

Mum and Maggie had spend the morning, before coming to us, making all these nice pre food!

I don't wear dresses very often but this one I bought just for this occasion and I really like it. The pink shoes were only worn before the party started, don't worry!

Pre food and drinks upstairs before dinner.

Dinner with many Amazing friends!

I got such great presents and will spread it all out over the year to make my birhtday last as long as possible :-) To mention a few presents I got spa treatments, dinner out with friends, massage/hot stone treatments, a food bag from Hemmagastronomi and a voucher from the same Place, Money to go towards a trip, lamb meat etc.

I am so happy with the night and feel blessed to be sourrounded by great friends. The last people to leave left around 2:30 after lots of Girls talk and eating and drinking.

40!

Last week on Wednesday I turned 40. I don't feel old and I don't Think I look so old, but 40 just sounds so old!
The birthday was celebrated with the family in the morning and then a training course all day. After that straight home to get ready for the rest of the family and some friends to come over for dinner.

Mum and Anneli

Maggi with Vilmer and Karin

Elias!

Åsa!

Zara, Micke and Finn came over and of course my brother with family as well. I was very happy but tired at the end of my birthday! Turning 40 wasn't so bad.

Last hockey training

When getting back from our skiing trip we just unpacked the car (which took forever) before getting ready to go to Jakob's last hockey training for the season. Chris came and played with the kids something that of course was very appreciated by everyone.

Next year the trainings will become a bit more serious and Jakob will also start playing matches.

Normally just Adam or I go with Jakob to his training but this time we both wanted to go so that meant brining both Isak and Viktor. Viktor got really restless and neede to be entertained the whole time.

After the training Chris stayed an played a bit with Jakob and Linus.
