Week 37+5

The baby can come any time now so I have packed the baby bag, sent in my birth letter, started packing my own bag and the baby car seat is in place. It feels like the baby dropped a bit on the weekend, today at work I found it much harder to walk fast, I have quite bad heartburn on and off, I have to run to the toilet every 30 minutes and when walking it feels like I have a head between my legs. I know this is all a part of the deal and just means that it is getting closer. I hope it stays in there for another couple of weeks though.

Last week Isak had a dentist appointment. He went there for the first time when he was one but couldn't remember it so for him this was the first time. He was so cute and nervous Before going there, he wanted me to come and hold his hand, and he told me he didn't want to go, he wanted to go to dagis instead. In the waiting room he sat on my lap the whole time and when the dentist came he had his angry look and looked to the side when she was talking to him. The dentist was really nice and friendly and kept chatting to him while he was sitting on my lap in the dentist room. After a while he started relaxing and didn't complain when I put him in the chair. He got to understand how the chair could move up and down and when the dentist wanted to look in his mouth he opened it and did Everything she told him to. As soon as she had finished he was like a different child. He talked non stop and seemed so relieved that it was all over and that he made it!

Jakob also went to the dentist last week, with Adam, and Everything is looking good (or at least not worse).

An afternoon with Jakob...

On the weekend Jakob and I had an afternoon together just the two of us. We went to the riding club and then in to the library in the city.

Last weekend I went to the library with just Isak but he was over tired and started running around screaming so I had to take him out quickly. Jakob is old and mature now so he just played a bit, I read him 3 books and in the end he borrowed 3 books that he picked carefully.

On the main street in the city a big tv screen was set up for the ice hockey finals! Jakob wanted to stay and Watch but we weren't quite dressed for it so we watched it at home instead.

We ended our day trip with fika in the city!

2 will be 3

Not long now before 2 will be 3. Life will change for all of us. Exciting times but we are also a bit nervous. Not Jakob and Isak, they keep saying how much they want the baby to come out noooooowwww! Last weekend when Adam was away the boys played from 7 until 9 in the morning without fighthing, while I stayed in bed half asleep. Like I said, Life is going to change very soon...

I Think Isaks favourite thing to do on the weekend is to sleep. Somtimes he just goes to sleep like this on the sofa, and sometimes he walks in to his room and falls asleep on the bed. I much prefer that tired side of him than the other one. The other one is when he is over tired, and go completley crazy, laughs at Everything, annoys Jakob and everyone else around him and runs around like a freak. Still very cute though.

Saturday night

Not long to go now... 36 weeks and 3 Days now!

Zara (of course) and Carina didn't have the dads home tonight either and none of us felt like cooking so we got together at our Place and ordered Chinese food for adults and pizza for the kids.

In between playing like crazy and us mum's trying to get the kids to calm down a bit we managed to Watch the end of the ice hockey. Luleå won the match which means they are now in final for the first time in many years! very exciting even for me but especially to Jakob.

Today!

After a late night for me last night Isak woke up 6:30 after waking me up 2 times during the night to do a wee. Lucky he is cute... He let me stay in bed for quite a bit longer though so it wasn't too Bad. Here he is proudly and carfully carrying 2 glasses of milk, one for himself and one for Jakob, from the kitchen to the livingroom.

After a quiet morning at home we went to the toy shop so that Jakob and Isak could pick a soft toy each for the baby.

After shopping we dropped Jakob off at mums and Isak and I went for a walk to the city and a fika with Carina and Nelly. We also went to the library but I had to leave quite quickly because Isak lost the plot and started running around like crazy in there.

It didn't take him long to fall asleep after that...

Isak watching Jakob getting his cut taken care of...

Today I took the bandaid off Jakobs cut and cleaned it and it is looking much better even though I Think he will have a scar there for the rest of his Life.

More birthday celebrations

Friday morning Adam and his friend Micke left for their long weekend in Prague that Zara and I gave them for Christmas. I am all alone with the kids until Monday evening and all we can hope is that the baby doesn't decied to come early so that Adam misses it all.  So far so good anyway.
Last night I had Carina and Stina over for a Girls night. Carina and I (and also Jakob) had a sauna and footbath/scrub and the rest of the night we spent eating and chatting until nearly midnight. A very nice end to a working week!

My birthday!

My birthday earlier in the week was celebrated when I got home from work. Adam cooked a really nice dinner and mum, Anders and Moa came over for dinner, and Zara and the family a bit later for cake. I felt very spoilt with nice Company and great food and presents!

Easter in Ale

This time of the year is when the Lambs are starting to be born. Jakob and Isak (and I) really like seeing the sheep so Easter Sunday we left dad at home. picked up mum and went to Ale. Maggi had made waffles for us so we started with lunch at Maggis.

Then we went to see the Lambs, they are just adorable!

Isak feeding one of the Lambs with a bottle. He wasn't scared at all and did a good job.

Isak wasn't scared of the animals but he did not want to sit on the four-wheeler. He was very interested in it but to scared to hop up.

Jakob was very happy when Åke offered him a ride back to the house Before we headed home again!

Easter dinner at mums

One night during Easter we had dinner at mum's. The kids (and even Adam and I!) got Easter eggs and they were all hidden in the apartment. The kids loved looking for them and they loved watching Adam and I look for ours.

Relaxing after a nice dinner and too many lollies!

Skating on the ocean!

The weather was really nice over the Easter weekend and on the Saturday we packed the car with skates and some food and went down to the city where you easily can walk on to the ice. I took care of the cooking while all the boys skated.

Jakob and Adam in action.

Break to have some sausages and drinks!

Tired but happy kids on the way back to the car.

Isak enjoying a sleep after the morning in the sun!

Elias 1!

On Good Friday Elias turned 1 and of course we were there to celebrate. Karin had made the most delicious birthday cake!

I Think the older kids were more interested in the cake and the candles than the birthday boy!

Andreas and Elias

Elias didn't want to be in the photo!

Me 35 weeks and 2 Days pregnant with Isak and Jakob.

Easter accident

Thursday evening, the day before good Friday, the kids had just gone to bed and Adam and I were relaxing when we heard a bang and Jakob screaming. He had fallen out of bed and had quite a big split on his chin. I had to take him to a doctor who decided to glue it and tape it together. Not the best start to the Easter weekend!
