Update!

Finally I am taking the time to update the blog after a long break. The main reason has been that I have a new laptop and haven't managed to download photos to it yet. It is very strange and I still don't know how to fix it. The other reason is that I have been very busy latley and just not had the energy to do it.
I am now 31 weeks pregnant and am lucky to feel pretty good! this baby seems to be a crazy one though because it is contstantly moving and kicking inside my belly. Isak was very calm both inside the belly and as a baby, Jakob was a bit more active in the belly and was when he came out as well. This one is nothing like the other two, so it will be interesting to see what sort of person this will be...
Jakob and Isak are looking forward to getting another brother and sister, so they say anyway, and Isak often talks to the baby (the belly) and Jakob asks lots of questions about what it is like for the baby in the belly, how the palcenta works etc.
Jakob is now 6 and is about to lose his third tooth. It is just hanging on so any time now he will have a big gap in his mouth again. When he lost his first two teeth the new ones had already started coming up behind the ones he was losing so it never looked so strange but I look forward to seeing him with a cute gap in his mouth very soon.
Isak has been to his 3years check up and Everything seems normal. After being late to start talking he is now talking a lot. Not always so easy to understand but Jakob is doing a great job translating for us at times. He tries hard to speak English to Adam and is doing a pretty good job. After seeing grandma and poppa during summer and later this year I am sure he will be even better. Jakob speaks fluent English and still always swap between Swedish and English depending on if he is talking to me or Adam.
Not long now before we have another child with in the family, the due date is 1st May. I am excited and scared at the same time but also really look forward to meeting him or her. I dream  a lot about giving birth and every time it is a boy. Will be interesting to see if it is. I Think it feels like a boy and I would be very surprised if it was a girl. This pregnancy feels very much like the other ones apart from the activity in the belly. Soon we will find out and I am now starting to prepare a bit for giving birth again mainly by reading books, going through what it was like with Jakob and Isak and Reading on the internet.

Storklinten

The days are getting longer and warmer and this time of the year is really great for sking! we all left in the morning to go to Storklinten for the day. Earlier in the pregnancy I would never have thought I would be skiing at 31 weeks but it is going to much better than expected. I got to start with trying my new slalom skis that Adam surprised me with a few weeks ago. I had 3 great runs in the big slope and even though I took it a bit easier than normally it felt great! both the skis and to be sking.
After my runs I went to get Jakob and we did a few runs together. He was much more confident today than he has been earlier in the season.

In between sking he played a lot with this board and with the bob.

Jakob had a couple of meltdowns in the middle of the day (not like him) and was sad and angry at the same time. I thought we would have to go home but he turned it all around and got happy again wanting to ski. Over all it was a great family day with both Jakob and Isak doing some great sking.

Zara and the family were there as well as my brother with his family.

Isak's new bed!

After 3 years in a cot it was time for Isak to move in to a junior bed. He has never tried to climb  out of is bed and he has always loved sleeping in it, but the due date for the baby is getting closer and we thought the time had come for him to get a new bed. Adam found this one on Blocket and it turned out to be one of my collegues selling it! Isak was extremly happy climbing in to his new bed for the first time.

Valentines Day

Mormor surprised us all with some Heart shaped goodies left at the house for everyone on Valentine's Day.

Weekend away

Last weekend we were invited to Zara's parents cabin to stay with her and the family for a night.

We got there before lunch and everyone played outside for a while.

Zara and Micke packed lunch for everyone and took us on a snow mobile ride to a cabin in the forest.

The cabin was one of those free ones you can find up here in the north of Sweden that you can borrow for free.

Very cosy and basic and a nice Place to have lunch!

The surroundings were just Beautiful! I love Winter!

Me and the kids getting ready to go back to the other cabin.

Relaxing...

And some more snow mobile later in the afternoon...

Kids birthday party!

This year we had a birthday party for the kids dagis friends at the same time. Isak had 2 friends over and Jakob had 8 friends over so we had 12 kids between 2-6 in the hosue at the same time...

Isak all dressed up waiting for the party to start!

And Jakob as well!

Trying to come up with something to do to make time go faster...

Waiting makes Isak tired...

Finally they all arrived and Adam started with a game...

While I prepared "fika" for the big kids...

and the Little ones...

Jakob very happy to be surronded by friends!

The only time it was quiet and they all sat still...

Isak playing with his friends...

And Jakob with his friendes...

Treasure hunt!

There was actually one more time at the party where the kids were still and quiet - at the end, after the treasure was find and they all got to eat lollies and watch the start of a movie.

Jakob and Isak were two tired but very happy boys when the party was over. Adam and I was pleased that everyone seemed to have a good time!

Birthday boys

Jakob and Isaks's birthdays are only 5 days apart so we have birthday parties for them togehter.

Waiting for everyone to come...

First visitors and first present have arrived...

More ice hockey stuff...

The family!
Jakob blowing out 6 Candles...

And Isak blowing out 3 (with some help from mummy)

The cousins also stayed for dinner...

The baby is growing and som am I! here about 28 weeks pregnant.

Mummy and Isak weekend

About a  month ago Adam and Jakob joined Anders and the kids for a sking weekend in Storklinten staying in their caravan. They had a great weekend and at the same time Isak and I had a great time at home. Not often I get the chance to spend so much time with just one child so it felt pretty special.

Isak just looooves getting his hair cut so that was one thing we did on the weekend. He doesn't get enough and just wants me to keep going. Not like his big brother who doesn't really want to sit still and asks every two seconds when it is finished.

Isak is the only one in the family who loves cleaning!

Isak riding

Isak is always happy to come with me to the riding club. With Jakob it is getting harder and harder to get hime to come. The other week Isak had a ride on Moa but Jakob didn't want to...

Luleå Hockey

Jakob loves ice hockey and because Isak wants to be like his big brother, he loves ice hockey too. Here dressed up to go with daddy to one of Luleås home games.

2013

First day of the new year was a very quite day for all of us. Jakob stayed in his pyjama all day long and we didn't leave the house. I played a bit with my new laptop, Adam cooked a very nice lunch, I made a cake and Jens came over for a "fika" in the afternoon. I don't Think I have relaxed as much as I have done the last couple of weeks ever in my life!

Oh well, feels like this year will be a busy year so a few quiet weeks probably won't hurt. Tomorrow I am back at work again but Adam will be home with the kids until they start dagis again next Monday!

Different New Years Eve

Last year Adam was sick on New Years Eve and I ended up having dinner with the kids with mum. It was a really nice evening even though I was a bit disappointed to miss a big party. This year both of us felt like having a quite New Years Eve all by ourselves. In the morning we decided to go to Storklinten for the seasons first day of skiing! I expected the weather to be quite bad but even though it might not look so good it was great. -1 and no wind or snow (started snowing a Little at the end of the day).

Getting all the gear ready!

Isak and I spent most of the day going up with the band, and down on the bob. Most of the times him by himself on the bob and me walking down but sometimes both of us on the bob.

Isak loved it and apart from a one hour lunch break he kept on doing the same thing for 5 hours with a big smile on his face. I was very impressed!

Anders, Helena with kids and Helena's parents and sister with family were also there. Lucas did very well skiing and I have to say Isak and Lucas look quite similar in these photos.

Lunchbreak in the restaurant... nice with a break in the middle of the day and the kids must have been hungry because they ate everything on their plates and some of my food as well.

It took Jakob some time to get back in to skiing. He was lacking a bit of confidence and a few falls don't help. The good thing is that he kept trying and didn't give up and I think he enjoyed it.

At the end of the day I also got to ski a bit. First with Jakob but also a couple of runs by myself. It was Amazing and I will really miss not being able to ski so much this season! hopefully I can do it a few more times before I get to big...

When we got home we were all very tired and our plans to go out for dinner, got changed to getting take away, which we changed to rice porridge for the kids and lollies for us adults. A very different but in the end a very nice New Years Eve. And no, I didn't make it until midnight :-)

A tractor!

Isak looooves tractors! here he is watching one clearing the snow from the neighbours driveway.
