Last photos of the boys with the belly

Monday night and I had a feeling that this would be the last chance for a Picture of the boys with the belly. I was right.

Before Viktor...

Some various photos from the week before Viktor was born.

Jakob lost another tooth! and today when writing this he lost another one. He has now pulled out 3 teeth and lost 5.

On the weekend Jakob had 2 birthday parties to go to so on Saturday I took Isak out to the riding club for a ride on Moa. He really liked it!
This is what I got when I asked for a smile!

The boys having their Saturday lollies.

Playing memory with mormor.

Adam cleaning the bbq and the kids playing with the neighbours grandkids.

Not quite warm enough for water games but it was hard to stop them, they were having such a great time!

The trampoline is back!

Not long to go... I wasn't asleep though, just had my eyes closed in the photo...

41 weeks

Today I have been pregnant for 41 weeks and the baby is still very happy and comfortable in my belly. I have my next appointment with the midwife on Friday if nothing happens before that and I guess she will book me in for an appointment at the hospital to discuss induction if nothing happens. I really don't want to be indcued so hopefully the baby comes soon. At the same time I am lucky to feel really good so I am not in a hurry and if everything seems ok in there I hope they will let me wait a bit longer for it all to start naturally.

Jakob and Isak have been obesessed with playing memory for the last few weeks. Often that is the first thing they do when they wake up in the morning and the first thing they want to do when they come home from dagis. Isak is becoming really good but Jakob always wins by cheating and being a little bit better.

Tonight Jakob is outside playing soccer with the kids on the street. The snow is gone from our backyard and I think in the next few days we will set the trampoline up.

40+6

Monday was 5 Days after the due date and still no baby. Both Isak and Jakob were born 5 Days after their due dates so in my mind I have thought maybe it would be the same with this one. After a quiet Sunday I had lots of energy on Monday and thought there is no point waiting for this baby, I better just get on with life. I went in to work in the morning for a few hours and in the afternoon I met up with Carina and Stina for a fika in the city. Very nice.

This photo was taken last night 40 weeks and 6 days and me feeling pretty good! Isak had a bad night with growing pain for the first time. He woke up every two hours wanting me to massage his leg. I felt dead in the morning and had a long sleep in, and another nap just before lunch. After that I spent a few hours at work, went to the riding club and then to Maria later in the evening for a fika.

Lazy Sunday

After a busy start of the weekend I felt really tired on the Sunday and was also thinking that the baby should arrive very soon and I need to rest. Only left the house in the afternoon to celerbate Gerd's birthday.

Gerd is my dad's cousin and she lives in a nursing home after a stroke she had a few years ago. I should visit her more often but in the last few years I have only been there for her birthday. Jakob likes going there and he chats to all the old people in the corridor and is not shy at all. Isak got to stay home this time.

Busy Saturday

Since the baby was showing no signs of wanting to come out we all ended up having a pretty busy Saturday.

Jakob and I Went to the city in the morning to take some books back to the library (and borrow new ones) but it wasn't yet opened when we got there. The cafe next by was though so Jakob and I shared a chocolate ball and read a book while waiting.

Next stop was the cemetery. We haven't been there for a long time so Jakob and I decided to go there to light a candle for morfar and to tell him that we miss him and that he will soon be granfather to another baby.

We also went in to a room where the urns with ahes from people who have died during the winter are kept while waiting for the snow go away. My friend Jessica died before Christmas and Saturday was her birthday. Her funeral will be later this month. Still hard to believe that she is gone.

Home for a quick lunch and then to Leos Indoor playground for a birthday party that Isak was invited to. All of us went and Jakob came along as well playing with his friends in the playground.

Dinner we had at Zaras and Mickes place. Sara and the family was also there so the big boys played together first outside and then inside.

Isak wasn't quite sure what to do. In the beginning he was trying to hang out with the big boys but at the end of the night he was relaxing with the girls.

40 weeks and 3 Days and baby very happy in my belly!

1 May

In Ale there is a tradition for people in the village to get together in the morning and make waffles over open fires on the side of a hill. We have been there most years since I came back to Sweden. Some years have been really sunny and warm and a t-shirt has been enough to keep warm. This year it was quite windy and Cold so we had to run around a bit to stay warm.

Jakob Went straight to Maggi to try to get some warmth from the fire and to keep an Eye on the waffles.

After a bit we got the kids to start playing in the forest which kept them happy for a while.

Last year Elias slept through the whole experience but this year he was part of it all! He can now take a few steps all by himself, but in the forest with the uneven ground a helping hand was needed.

Adam not used to forest Life had a fall when trying to grab Another waffle...

Me - the whale, and Jakob.

After a while everyone was quite Cold so we headed to Maggi's house for some more waffles and for the kids to play. Jakob and Isak were very happy because they talked a lot about having waffles in Maggis house Before we got there - they got what they wanted in the end.

The small kids playing quiet games on the floor...

And the big ones going crazy in the background playing floor ball with brooms!

We weren't planning on visiting the sheep this time but the kids really wanted to and I really like it too so Before leaving Ale we Went past the sheep shed.

The Lambs are growing too fast!

I Think I enjoy cuddling the Lambs as much as the kids.

As Always Isak is really keen, he wants to feed them and hold them and is not scared of anything.

In the end Jakob challenged himself and held a lamb. He has never done it Before and has Always been a bit worried about doing it. He likes being around them and patting and feeding them but has been a biut scared of holding. It was nice to see him doing it in the end and he was very proud of himself.

Valborgsmässoafton

Yesterday was a day when Swedes celebrate spring by gathering around a big bon fire. We were supposed to have Zara and the family over for dinner but they Finn had some belly problems so we didn't want to take the risk getting something at this stage. Instead we had a nice bbq at home just the 4 of us and after that Went to the local bon fire.

We got there about half an hour Before Lightning the fire and watched some fireworks and the kids played with some friends from childcare.

Lots of people watching some poor people trying to light the fire after a couple of rainy Days.

The fire lighters failed but the kids didn't seem to care. They had a great time running around with their friends climbing on rocks and chasing each other. It was nearly impossible keeping up with them even though Adam did a better job than I...

Last appointment?

The day Before the due date I had an appointment with the midwife, the next one will be the 10th of May unless it has come out Before that.

Everything was looking good from what you can see and hear from the outside. The baby has been a bit more quiet the last few weeks so I really hope that means it won't be so wild on the outside...

Carina turning40!

My dear old friend Carina turned 40 a couple of weeks ago and last weekend me, Stina and Annika celebrated her by spending the day in Piteå and the night in Stina's stuga. We weren't sure if we would fit it all in Before me giving birth but luckily we did. Carina is also pregnant but due about 9 weeks after me so waiting too long was not a good idea either.
We started with a nice relaxing lunch in Piteå.

Then some shopping (I didn't buy anything!)

We also had a fika Before hedaing to the cabin to relax. With two pregnant Girls (me with a Cold as well), one with a 2 months old baby and only Stina who was in good form, we hardly left the cabin all afternoon/evening.

Alcohol free bubbles for the birthday girl!

Somehow we managed to put together a very nice dinner and as Always I Think we all ate too much.

Back in the cabin for dessert after a sauna!

Some Girls talk Before bedtime.

Slept like a baby in the guest cabin with Carina.

Bye bye cabin and Girls weekend!
