The day before leaving we took the ferry to Staten Island and back. It is a nice trip with good views of the Statue of Liberty and of Manhattan but the highlight of the trip was talking to a couple from Israel. After having been to Israel and worked on kibbutz 18 years ago it was nice to hear about the changes that has happened in the country over the years.
