You can tell easily when Jakob is tired or hungry. He stops listening and he gets angry very easily. When we decided to have lunch he was really cranky and difficult. For example he changed his mind and wanted pancakes when the food came out (he had ordered pasta bologese). After having had enough of his bad mood I gave him the option to either leave the food and go straight home, or to eat it and stay and play a bit longer. He chose to eat and was much happier after that.
